My Bunny?

Do you think it's possible that these unrecognizable pieces of knitting will eventually look like . . .
this delightful little bunny?

I mentioned here that I intended to try to make this cute little thing, but geez, what a chore!
Is it normal for knitting needles to get bent like this in the process of knitting? I didn't think so.
I have to say knitting with cotton is a little tedious. It has no give, so being the amateurish knitter (among other things) that I am, I seemed to have gotten my stitches too tight, and that really made all the increasing and decreasing kind of difficult -- thus the bent needles ;-). Anyhoo, I plowed through all that eventually, but I'm really stymied with the intarsia for adding the pink into the ears. I've watched this 'how to do intarsia' video about 45 times, but still not sure I'm doing it right. The front doesn't look too bad, I guess. . .
. . . but is the other thread supposed to drape over the pink in the back like this? I don't think so, but I guess it won't show once it's all sewn together anyway, right? Oh well, I will soldier on, and we shall see what we shall see.
Oh, and here's the quilt square we worked on at Judith's the other night. I'm still not that fond of my fabrics, but we're learning how to do crazy quilt squares, so that's good. I can always make one with other colors later, right? That rose in the middle is just too corny -- what was I thinking?

That is such an adorable bunny. I have great confidence in you-I'm sure it will turn out just fine. Relax and have fun with it.

Sorry, I love the corny rose. It's like it's peaking out from behind those very 'suitlike' fabrics. Like a yin-yang thing!

I think the My Bunny is going to turn out just right. The part for me when I have ago at knitted toys is sewing all the pieces. Julie
