Quilting Class

Tonight, the lovely Judith is teaching a quilting class at her charming store, 'The Wool & Cotton Shop', which we visited we when we went to the Art Walk a couple of months ago. That's Judith's shop pictured above with Maleah and me browsing. My daughter and I are going to the class together, so the other day, we went to look for the supplies we're supposed to take with us. We need 6 fabrics that make us think of fall. Well, neither of us are fans of the oranges, golds, etc., that are usually associated with fall, so we had kind of a hard time coming up with fabrics we really liked. Actually, we only have a couple stores that sell fabric here in our little town, so that doesn't help either. But Judith has some fabrics at her shop, so I bet we'll find some better choices when we get there tonight. Anyway, here's what we came up with -- not thrilled with them, but we'll see -- maybe they'll look better made up?

I'm thinking I like the ones on the bottom best?

Thanks for visiting my blog. The chicken tea cosy is in a pattern book by Patons called "One for the Pot"! It has the code PBN K 363 on the cover. Hope that helps.
