Can you see blurry Mr. FC across the room -- scratching his head and no doubt wondering 'what's she doing now?' as I take yet another picture of my foot.

Took this one lying on the bathroom floor with my feet against the wall because I love this lily of the valley wallpaper -- even after 10 years of living with it. It's from an old Christian Dior wallpaper book that I found at a fancy wallpaper/decorating shop in the University Park area of Dallas. Bad person that I am, I couldn't afford to order it from the shop at full retail, so I ordered it from one of those discount wallpaper places found in the back of Southern Living magazine. Did that with the one in the dining room too -- oh well, now you know.

Love your red socks! (fiendish laugh) I've got another one hooked on making socks (hehehe) Ready to start a pair with a lace pattern?
Susan -- you are the sock pusher
;-)!
I love the socks, I love the wallpaper, and I love the new header!
I don't love how you're leaving me in your trail dust of sock knitting. I'm going to have to get on the ball!
Your socks are great, you should be very pleased with them and take as many pictures to record your cleverness as you possibly can! I have today enrolled on a one day sock workshop, so next Tuesday should see me getting to grips with toe upwards socks! Wish me luck.Ah well, even if I can't master socks, at least I will have had a nice day out, coffee and cake, and a lovely lunch - can't be bad! Helen
Oh my! those are the best socks I have ever seen I adore red! I am still battling knitting a smalls cardi, sort of losing the will to live doing it too lol!

Hello Gigi! WOW!!! what a great new aspect your blog has! I love it!
And the woman in the banner looks like a southern Italy woman ;-) black dressed and outside her house: very nice!
I love your socks too! You have began a sock knitting teacher I think!
Love your socks! Great bright color.
Thank you for inviting me over! Your blog is wonderful, as are your red socks! I'll check back soon to see how your market bag is going. Have fun!
Your socks are awesome! I just love the red! I'm knitting a pair for my oldest granddaughter. I got the baby's done. This pair I'm trying a new technique for me, 2 at a time on 2 circular needles. Never did that before but once I got cast on, it's working very well, so far....lol. I still love my dpn's too.
Keep up the rainbow of colors. I loved the purple and now red, what's next????

Gigi, You crack me up. This post just made me giggle. I love the head scratching your husband is doing...I've seen that same thing here :) The socks are great. I want to be knitting where the lady in your header is knitting. That's too great.
