Last time I was out West, my Lovable Darling Daughter gave me some photos she'd found out in the garage. Some of them are so cute, and I especially love this one.
This is my adorable mom -- photo taken in the 40's around Quanah, TX (lovely Texas landscape, eh?). She was a horse lover (me too -- totally goofy over horses) and good rider. She even rode barrels in the rodeo when she was in high school (I talked more about her here). Anyway, I just think this is the cutest picture -- so her -- enjoying life with a big smile and even bigger heart. I miss you Mom!
Have a great week everyone!

8 sprinkles of fairy dust:
LOVE! Your mom IS adorable there and the horse is so pretty! Ha ha ha (the West Texas landscape!)
I really like your mama's dress!
I miss Jess. I love her soft and sweet ways.
What a great picture to have of your sweet mom. I especially like seeing what she is wearing...and with a horse in a field! Sometimes I wish we still dressed like that....only sometimes though. =D
She is One Adorable Mom, for sure! What kind of boots is she wearing? I'm guessing these are not her riding duds. Ha! I kinda know about that type of landscape. Rough & tough country.
What an adorable photo and family treasure! She looks so happy! I'm a bit of a horse lover as well. Unfortunately for me, my parents decided to get horses after I had left home. :)
She's so cute!! Like you!!
